Australian star Beejan Land didn't exactly have the most conventional path into acting; as a teen he began his performing career as a magician, appearing at numerous parties and events.

Despite winning an award for his illusions, Land made an even more miraculous side step into acting and after taking classes at the Australian Theatre for Young People, he went on to hone his craft at the prestigious Jacques Lecoq School of Mime, Movement and Theater in Paris. Now, following extensive performances on stage and screen both at home and in the US, the Sydney born actor is getting recognition on the big screen; last year he appeared alongside Bill Murray in comedy drama Rock the Kasbah and in December 2015 he was cast as the lead in war thriller Inertia.
